This policy explains how Price Anatomy Upload Automation (the “Application”) accesses, uses, stores, and protects information obtained through Google and YouTube APIs.
1. Who the Application is for
The Application is a private desktop publishing tool used only by the authorized owner of the Price Anatomy YouTube channel. It is not offered for general public use.
2. Information the Application may access
After the channel owner gives explicit Google OAuth authorization, the Application may access only the information required for its publishing workflow, including:
- Basic YouTube channel identity and channel information, to verify that the correct channel is connected.
- Permission to upload videos to the authorized YouTube channel.
- Permission to manage uploaded video information such as titles, descriptions, tags, thumbnails, captions, and privacy settings.
- YouTube video and channel performance data when analytics access is separately authorized.
The Application does not request access to Gmail, Google Drive, contacts, payment information, or Google Account passwords.
3. How information is used
Google and YouTube data is used only to:
- Confirm that the correct Price Anatomy channel is connected.
- Upload quality-approved videos as private content for owner review.
- Apply owner-approved metadata, thumbnails, and captions.
- Read authorized performance metrics to improve future titles, thumbnails, and editorial decisions.
- Record local upload receipts and diagnose failed uploads.
Google user data is not used for advertising, sold, rented, or shared with data brokers.
4. Storage and security
OAuth credentials, authorization tokens, quality reports, and upload receipts are stored locally on the channel owner’s Windows computer. They are not published on this website. Reasonable safeguards are used to restrict access to the authorized owner and the local publishing workflow.
5. Sharing and disclosure
Google user data is sent only to Google/YouTube as needed to perform an authorized API action. It is not transferred to unrelated third parties, except when required by law or necessary to protect against fraud, abuse, or security threats.
6. Retention and deletion
Local authorization tokens and related records are retained only while the Application is actively used. The channel owner can delete the local token and upload receipts from the Application’s local folder. Revoking access through the Google Account immediately prevents future API access; locally stored authorization data can then be deleted.
7. Revoking access
The channel owner may revoke the Application’s Google access at any time from the Google Account’s third-party connections page. Revocation does not delete videos previously uploaded to YouTube, which remain under the owner’s control in YouTube Studio.
8. Google API Services User Data Policy
The Application’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
9. Children’s privacy
The Application is an owner-operated publishing tool and is not directed to children. It does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
10. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when the Application’s functions or legal requirements change. The updated date at the top of this page will identify the current version.
11. Contact
For privacy, access, or deletion questions, contact Price Anatomy through the User Support Email displayed on the Application’s Google OAuth consent screen.
